Educating people through labor:The historical evolution and contemporary mission of labor education in the context of Chinese modernization
Labor education is an educational method to cultivate labor skills,labor quality and labor spirit of workers. As a form of education,labor education is intrinsically coupled with Chinese-style modernization,which is manifested as mutual achievement in practice,mutual alignment in value,and mutual promotion in spirit. Labor education has played an important role in the exploration of Chinese-style modernization. Based on the contemporary perspective,holistic structure and cultural connotation of Chinese modernization,the connotation,practice and value of labor education have been enriched. To promote labor education in the process of Chinese-style modernization,it is necessary to adhere to the direction of educating people for the Party and educating talents for the country,and give full play to the role of labor education in political orientation,value leadership,material protection,spiritual support and talent cultivation,so as to provide material foundation and spiritual strength for further promoting Chinese-style modernization and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
