Tea pots had been common in Qing Dynasty poetry,and the mainstream material of those teapots was ceramic,and so the teapots were often classified into tile pottery,porcelain pottery and dark-red enameled pottery.The most common ceramic teapot in Qing Dynasty poetry was the Yixing dark-red enameled teapot in Yixing.Master Gongchun in the Ming Dynasty was the founder of Yixing dark-red enameled pots,which was often referred to the Yixing dark-red enameled pottery.Chen Weisong,a famous poet from Yixing in the early Qing Dynasty,once wrote poems about the Yixing dark-red enameled pottery made in his hometown′s pottery kiln.In terms of the design of Yixing dark-red enameled pottery,Qing Dynasty poetry was often involved,and its simplicity has been much appreciated since then.Chen Mansheng and Chen Mingyuan were the famous Yixing dark-red enameled pottery designers and producers in Qing Dynasty.
