Enhancement scheme for hill starting ability of diesel light passenger vehicles based on Cruise
In response to the insufficient ability of a certain export diesel light passenger vehicle to start on a slope,Cruise software was used to analyze the changes in vehicle power and economy caused by two schemes of increasing the rear axle speed ratio. One of the schemes was selected as the final one,and actual vehicle performance was tested. The results show that the rear axle with a speed ratio of 4.556 has enhanced the vehicle's ability to start on slopes, and there have been no complaints from users about the deterioration of the vehicle's economy, which has been recognized by the users.
