Development and research on process cylinder head of a light diesel engine
In due to the cylinder bore deformation is an important indicator that affects the engine oil consumption and air leakage,more and more production lines have started to use process cylinder heads for the machining of cylinder bores to improve the problem of cylinder bore deformation after assem-bly.The key to design and develop the process cylinder head is to ensure that its stiffness is consistent with the stiffness of the product cylinder head.By defining the evaluation indexes of cylinder bore defor-mation discretization,material optimization and structural optimization of the process cylinder head were carried out,and experiments were carried out to verify the results.Results show that the body processed with the process cylinder head can effectively improve the cylinder bore deformation after assembly,and the verification method proves that the development of the process cylinder head meets the design require-ments.
