Design of a variable pitch fan system for diesel engines in mountain robots
Mountain robots have absolute advantages in setting up fire barriers,clearing land,and working under forests in scenarios such as forests,wilderness,road slopes,and embankments.There-fore,the development of high-performance mountain robots has become a market demand.As one of the core components of mountain robots,the engine provides power for the equipment to walk and work;how-ever,traditional construction machinery that only has the function of suction or blowing air is prone to blockage of radiator vents by leaves,weeds,flocs,etc.during forestry,grassland,and wilderness opera-tions,resulting in high temperatures in the engine and hydraulic system.The variable pitch fan system developed by the project has been successfully used in the SR500 mountain robot,solving the problems caused by high temperatures in the engine and hydraulic system,and ensuring the normal operation of the mountain robot,and successfully achieved independent research and industrialization of a series of products.
