Self-discipline and Order:The Cultural Paradigm and Insight of Traditional Handicraft along the Grand Canal
The Grand Canal's traditional handicrafts were closely associated with life and brought with them ancient social order,institution,values,ethics and technological consensus.Through successive dynasties,a series of new policies and means were formed,which not only standardized the management and utilization of the canal,but also ensured the smooth operation of the Grand Canal and the stable development of the society along the canal.By comparing the Chinese classical knowledge system with the ideology of contemporary world,we can find that the"Classical thought"of almost all countries is dominated by the establishment of order,we still need to be driven by the traditional handicrafts of the Grand Canal as representative of our traditional culture,to retain in our hearts the integrity of the inward self-discipline and outward order with the national spirit,and to take on the role of a belt-shaped geographical space as a carrier,to inherit,protect and develop the main task of comprehensive research.
