Marriage with Water Charm:A Sociological Interpretation of the Marriage Culture of Fishermen in the Huai'an Section of the Grand Canal
The lake is born out of the canal,and the canal is smooth because of the lake.As an important hub,Hongze Lake in the Huai'an section of the Grand Canal carries important water conservancy projects and rich cultural heritage,giving birth to the marriage customs of water fishermen with regional characteristics.It is not only a true portrayal of the history and changes of the fishermen's community,but also a vivid display of values in wedding ceremonies.This study aims to explore the marriage customs culture of fishermen in the Huai'an section of the Grand Canal from a sociological perspective,analyze its formation reasons,shaping process,and the impact of historical changes on it.And through the interpretation of this social and cultural phenomenon,seek effective protection measures and development paths to activate and inherit this important intangible cultural heritage.
