The Effect of Shadowing on the Bio-chemical Content of Germinating Tea Shoot ofBaojing Golden Tea No.1
The effect of shadowing on the Bio-chemical Content of Germinating Tea Shoot ofBaojing Golden Tea No.1 was studied. The result showed that the free amino acid content in early Spring stage was improved by this treatment, while the effect is not signiifcant on the later stage. Shadowing can lower the rate of P/A, and under double-layer dark shadowing, the tea polyphenols content is 23.46% ~ 26.65, P/A rate 4.20 ~ 7.94. Double-layer shadowing has stronger effect on the quality of Baojing Golden Tea No.1 green tea than single-layer shadowing.
