China is the main country for global tea exports,and the RCEP agreement is crucial to the tea trade between China and Malaysia.In this context,studying the current situation and competitiveness of Chinese small package green tea exports to Malaysia can help Chinese tea companies gain a deeper understanding of the Malaysian market and adjust their sales strategies to Malaysia in a timely manner.Through the MS index,RCA index,and TCI index,this article compares and analyzes the competitiveness of small package green tea in the Malaysian market between China and other RCEP countries.At the same time,it analyzes the seasonal characteristics and transportation conditions of small package green tea exported from China to Malaysia.The results show that Chinese small package green tea has a strong competitiveness in the Malaysian market,with a significant seasonal trade balance,and a serious sea freight congestion problem between China and Malaysia.Deeply grasping the tariff advantages,reasonably planning green tea sales,and timely avoiding congestion risks are of great significance for Chinese tea enterprises to export small package green tea to Malaysia.
