Research on the effect of different forms of blunt body on vortex-induced vibration energy recovery
In this paper,the vortex energy recovery devices with different blunt body structures are studied by numerical simulation.A new type of blunt body structure C3 with control column was proposed on the basis of slits C1 and concave backside C2,and the fluid structure interaction(FSI)is calculated under the Reynolds number of 2.16×105.The results show that the frequency of vorticity shedding of the blunt body C3 with a control column decreases due to the disturbance of the control column.Secondly,the lift coefficients of PVDF flexible plates with different blunt bodies were calculated by FSI,and the amplitude of the lift coefficients of the flexible plates corresponding to the new blunt body structures increased.The frequency law of the lift coefficient is analyzed by using discrete Fourier change,and the frequency of the lift coefficient is inversely proportional to the amplitude.Finally,the power generation voltage of the flexible plate is calculated by the formula,and the voltage amplitude of the C3 flexible plate of the new blunt body structure is 0.04 V.Compared with the C2 blunt body structure,the power generation voltage increases by 33.3%.
