The Relationship between Children's Entrance Pressure and Parental Test Anxiety under the Background of Double Reduction Policy:A Moderated Mediation Model
Objective:In order to explore the current situation and internal mechanism of parents'test anxiety under the background of"double reduction".Method:A total of 240 adolescent parents from three cities in Zhejiang Province were selected for investigation using the Scale for Parental Perceived Pressures from Children's Entrance,Parental Test Anxiety Scale,Social Comparison Scale and Parental Educational Expectation Questionnaire.Results:The score of parental test anxiety was(3.63+0.97)points.There was a significant positive correlation between children's entrance pressure and parental test anxiety scores(r=0.486,P<0.01).Parental social comparison had a signifi-cant mediating effect between children's entrance pressure and parental test anxiety(indirect effect=0.14,Boot SE=0.03,95%CI=0.07~0.20).Parental educational expectation played a moderating role in the in-fluence of children's entrance pressure on parental test anxiety(index of moderated mediation=0.04,95%CI=0.01~0.07).Conclusion:The current level of parental test anxiety is relatively high.In addition,under the pressure of higher education,parental high educational expectations and social comparison con-tribute to parental test anxiety.
