Under the big data environment,the network public opinion ofuniversities has become an important part of social public opinion.Dealing with the network public opinion in the context of big data is an important part of ideological and political education in universities,which is conducive to maintaining ideological security in universities.The network public opinion of universities presents the characteristicsof subject specialization,theme diversification,complex dissemination,and tooling of public opinion.There are many challenges in the face of network public opinion in colleges and universities:managers'informa-tion acquisition lags behind,public opinion response mechanism is imperfect,and public opinion daily man-agement mechanism construction is weak.To cope with the network public opinion of universities,we should improve the university's network public opinion guidance mechanism from three aspects:"pre-posi-tioning mechanism-middle-mitigation mechanism-post-guidance mechanism",establish a good public opin-ion management team,and do a good job in daily public opinion monitoring;establish an effective public o-pinion early warning mechanism,improve the university's network public opinion guidance and disposal mechanism;improve the public opinion information feedback mechanism and evaluation and assessment mechanism.
