摘要
《精灵宝钻》中命运悲剧体现为命运的不可抗拒、英雄对既定命运的反抗以及走向自我毁灭的结局三个方面.小说对命运悲剧主题的发展与突破体现为对命运内涵的拓展与自我毁灭结局背后人与命运的和解.《精灵宝钻》的价值和意义在于托尔金在非理性主义思潮冲击下新的价值体系的建构,以及在"祛魅"背景下对神性思维复归的呼唤.
Abstract
In The Silmarillion,the tragic fate is embodied in three aspects:the irresistible fate,the hero's resistance against the predetermined fate and the eventual self-destruction.The development and breakthrough of the theme of the tragedy of fate in the novel is embodied in the expansion of the connota-tion of fate and the reconciliation between men and fate behind the self-destruction ending.The value and significance of TheSilmarillion are J.R.R.Tolkien's construction of a new value system in the face of the impact of irrationalism and the call for the return to divine thinking under the background of"disenchant-ment".
