Exploring the Practical Path of Low-Carbon City——Taking Yuxi City as an Example
Cities are the centers of economic and residential activities,and the main spatial carriers of carbon emissions.The construction of low-carbon cities has become an important driving force for achie-ving the dual carbon goals (i.e.,carbon peaking and carbon neutrality).The construction of low-carbon city involves many fields such as economic,politics,society,ecology.Based on different conditions such as industrial structure and ecological environment,it is necessary to explore innovative experiences and practices that are suitable for local area.Yuxi City is one of the third batch of low-carbon pilot cities in China.Starting with its pilot work,it explores the development mode and practical path of low-carbon city construction,providing useful references for developing low-carbon economy,optimizing energy structure,consolidating carbon sink,and practicing low-carbon living.
