Research on the Current Situation and Countermeasures of Teacher Ethics Cultivation for Local College Students in Hebei Province
The cultivationof teacher ethics for normal students constitutes an essential component for strengthening and enhancing the construction of teacher ethics and style in local institutions of higher edu-cation,and for the full implementation of the fundamental task ofcultivating students'moral character.In this research,questionnaires and interviews were employed to explore the current situation of teacher eth-ics cultivation education among 350 normal students from 5 local colleges and universities in Hebei Prov-ince.The findings indicated that the overall situation of teacher ethics cultivation education in local colleges and universities in Hebei Province was favorable.Nevertheless,certain issues persisted,such as insuffi-cient understanding of teacher ethics,unreasonable curriculum design,inadequate practical activities,im-perfect evaluation system,insufficient in-depth teacher guidance,and weak campus teacher ethics culture. Therefore,local colleges and universities should further strengthen publicity and education to improve the cognitive awareness and self-consciousness of teachers ethics,optimize curriculum design,strengthen the practical experience of teachers ethics,establish a teacher ethics evaluation system and improve teacher eth-ics evaluation mechanism,strengthen the guidance of teachers,build a campus teacher ethics culture envi-ronment,and effectively improve the quality of teacher ethics of local college students in Hebei Province.
