It has become a significant cultural project to promote the prosperity and development of culture in the new era through systematically and comprehensively protecting and displaying the cultural heritage of the Grand Canal,promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of the Grand Canal culture,coordinating with thedevelopment strategy of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,building high-quality national cultural parks,and promoting the integrated development of cultural and tourism industries.The three places of Beijing,Tianjin and He-beigive full play of the advantages of regional connectivity by linkingcities with rivers,making cities as the beads,stringing beads together along the rivers.We should form a joint force by the protection and utiliza-tion of heritage ontology,the improvement of ecological environment,the construction of national cultural parks,the integrated development of culture and tourism,and improvement of public cultural facilities.Taking advantage of the construction of the Grand Canal national cultural parks,we should actively ex-plore the effective modes of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt docking with the national major regional devel-opment strategy.Continuous optimization of the protection and utilization of the Grand Canal cultural her-itage will further drive and lead the high-quality development of regional culture and tourism industries,while actively expanding innovative models for collaborative protection of linear cultural heritage in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and connecting the Grand Canal cultural belt with national major regional de-velopment strategies.
