Clinical Efficacy of Amiodarone in the Prevention of Atrial Fibrillation after Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting
Objective:To investigate the effect of postoperative prophylactic administration of amiodarone on the incidence of atrial fibrillation in patients after coronary artery bypass grafting. Methods:A total of 68 patients undergoing elective coronary artery bypass grafting were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 34 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional treatment for coronary heart disease, and the experimental group was treated with amiodarone based on conventional treatment, and the differences in the occurrence of postoperative atrial fibrillation between the two groups were com-pared.Results:The incidence of postoperative atrial fibrillation in the experimental group(14.70%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(35.29%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The maximum ventricular rate of at-rial fibrillation[130.0(6.00)]beats/minute,which was significantly slower than that in the control group[150.5(32.75)]beats/minute(P<0.05).The average postoperative heart rate of the control group was significantly higher than that of the experi-mental group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Amiodarone plays a positive role in the prevention and treatment of atrial fibrillation after coronary artery bypass grafting, and can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative atrial fibrillation.
