The Effect of Zhenwu Decoction on CaN/NFAT3 Signal Pathway of Rats with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective:To explore the effect of Zhenwu Decoction on the CaN/NFAT3 signaling pathway in rats with chronic heart failure.Methods:50 SD rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, and high, medium, and low dose groups of Zhenwu Decoction.Chronic heart failure was induced by subcutaneous injection of isoproterenol. After continuous administration for 4 weeks, pathological changes were observed in the myocardial tissue of rats between the model group and the treatment groups of Zhenwu Decoction. The heart mass index, plasma BNP content, the activity of CaN and hemodynamic indicators of the rats were detected in the model group and the treatment groups of Zhenwu Decoction. Results:The left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)in the high-dose group of Zhenwu decoction was higher than that in the model group(P<0.05).Compared to the model group of rats, the cardio-body ratio index, plasma B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)content,CaN concentration in the myocardial tissue, and the expression level of NAFT3 protein were lower in the high dose of Zhenwu decoction group of rats(P<0.01).Conclusion:Zhenwu Decoction can improve myocardial tissue damage and inhibit myocardial cell hypertrophy in rats with chronic heart failure, which may be related to regulating the CaN/NFAT3 signaling pathway.
