Effect of Situational Simulation Education on Discharge Readiness and Self-care Ability of Patients with Colorectal Cancer after Surgery
Objective:To investigate the effect of situational simulation education on discharge readiness and self-care ability of patients with colorectal cancer after surgery. Methods:A total of 126 patients with colorectal cancer were selected and randomly di-vided into routine education group and situational simulation education group, with 63 cases in each group. The discharge readiness and self-care ability of patients in the two groups were observed. Results:Before intervention, there was no significant difference in RHDS scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,RHDS scores in the two groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the situational simulation group was significantly higher than the routine education group(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no significant difference in ESC A scores between the two group(P>0.05).After intervention,ESC A scores in the two groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the situational simulation group was significantly higher than the routine education group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Situational simulation education has remarkable effect on patients with colorectal cancer after surgery, and can significantly improve the discharge readiness and self-care ability of the patients.
