Study on the Mechanism of Ginseng in the Treatment of Ischemic Stroke Based on Bioinformatics Analysis
Objective:To investigate the mechanism of ginseng in the treatment of ischemic stroke. Methods:The active com-ponents of ginseng were obtained by TCMSP,BATMAN-TCM database and UniPort database. The target of ischemic stroke was ob-tained by DisGeNET gene-disease association database.Based on the common target of ginseng and ischemic stroke, the target co-regulatory network was constructed using Cytoscape 3.9.0 software, and the protein interaction network map was constructed using STRING database.KEGG pathway enrichment analysis and GO function enrichment analysis were performed for common targets in-volved in ischemic stroke using DAVID database. Results:There were 22 active components and 293 active targets of ginseng. There were 541 targets of ischemic stroke and 54 common targets of both.GO functional enrichment results showed that the molecu-lar mechanism of ginseng therapy for ischemic stroke was related to biological processes such as cell response to mechanical stimula-tion,drug response,lipopolysaccharide-mediated signal pathway hypoxia response, lipopolysaccharide response and estradiol re-sponse.The enrichment results of KEGG pathway showed that the mechanism of ginseng therapy for ischemic stroke was related to adipokine signaling pathway,AGE-RAGE signaling pathway,HIF-1 signaling pathway, and NF-κB signaling pathway.Conclu-sion:The mechanism of ginseng in the treatment of cerebral ischemia is mainly related to AGE-RAGE signaling pathway, adipokine signaling pathway,HIF-1 signaling pathway and NF-κB signaling pathway.
