The Effect of Swallowing Function Training Combined with Ice Stimulation Intervention on Swallowing Disorder in Ischemic Stroke
Objective:To explore the effect of swallowing function training and ice stimulation intervention in patients with post-stroke dysphagia(DAS).Methods:150 DAS patients admitted were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The observation group(75 cases)received swallowing function training combined with ice stimulation intervention, while the control group(75 cases)received swallowing function training. Both groups received continuous training for one month.Compare swallowing function, food intake, incidence of complications, and quality of life between two groups. The SSA score of the observation group after nursing was(21.60±1.48)points,lower than the control group's,the FIOS score was, higher than the control group's(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group(4.00%)was lower than that in the control group(13.33%)(P<0.05).The dimensions of food selection, eating time, appetite, language communication, and symptom fre-quency in the swallowing quality of life questionnaire(SWAL-QOL)after nursing in the observation group, respectively, which were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of swallowing function training and ice stimulation interven-tion can promote the recovery of swallowing and feeding functions, reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve the quality of life in DAS patients.
