Based on the current situation of the organization and collection of grey literature in public general undergraduate university libraries of Anhui Province,this article points out the five problems in the process of building grey literature in university libraries:strong dependence and weak awareness of independent development,lack of positioning and unclear collection goals,serious neglect of grey literature within the school,low utilization rate and insufficient publicity,and lack of communication and sharing mechanisms.It is suggested that university libraries should improve from four aspects:combining school positioning to formulate long-term development plans,adapting to subect services to form a professional team for grey literature,seeking support at the school level,and relying on the Anhui Provincial University Digital Library to build a gray literature sharing column.
