In the context of high-quality development of higher vocational education in the new era,the close combination of industry integration and core competencies has become a key factor in driving the reform of vocational education, fully reflecting the vocational and practical orientation of higher vocational education.Currently, there are many problems in the cultivation of core competencies of higher vocational students based on production-education integration, including misalignment of cultivation objectives, imperfect curriculum systems, excessive emphasis on skills and neglect of core competencies in the cultivation process, and insufficient participation of enterprises. To improve the quality of talent cultivation, based on the theory and practice of production-education integration, this paper proposes such countermeasures as joint development of schools and enterprises, perfecting the system of core competencies, embedding core competency indicators, and playing a dual-main role in talent cultivation. The aim is to promote the inward-oriented development of higher vocational education.
