Taking"promoting the quality and efficiency of foreign trade and achieving high-quality economic development"as the starting point,the paper focuses on the theoretical mechanism of the formation of new foreign trade momentum driven by the innovation and development of new foreign trade formats in the new era.First,promoting new foreign trade formats is the goal orientation of China's foreign trade innovation and development.Second,exploring system innovation is the main task of cultivating new forms of foreign trade.Third,strengthening the deep integration of domestic and foreign trade is an important way to promote the development of new forms of foreign trade.Fourth,accelerating digital transformation is an important trend to enhance the competitiveness of new foreign trade formats.Combined with these four theoretical mechanisms,the paper puts forward four practical paths for the innovative development of new foreign trade formats in the new era.They are,innovation-driven cultivation of new foreign trade formats,exploration of system innovation to foster new forms of foreign trade innovation and development,opening up to the outside world to create new advantages in opening up new forms of foreign trade,and government policies to ensure the innovative development of new forms of foreign trade.
