Globital Memory:Historical Origins,Contemporary Connotations and Future Prospects
Collective memory is the sum of memories that people experience,inherit and construct together,and is also the key to building national and ethnic identity.In the digital age,collective memory is gradually getting rid of the constraints of space and region,presenting characteristics centered around mobility.The concept of"globital memory"arises under the synergistic effect of globalization and digitalization.This paper aims to clarify the new problems and new scenarios faced by the"collective memory"theory in the context of globalization and digital technology progress,elaborate on the historical origins and contemporary connotations of"globital memory"and"globital memory field",and at the same time summarize its characteristics of the de-spatiotemporal,cross-media,visualization.The aim is to study the evolution and development of collective memory practice,and expand the direction of memory research,providing a foundation for the study of archival memory in the digital age.
