Ethical Review of Archival Data Governance:Connotations,Risks and Approaches
Archival data governance is confronted with ethical dilemmas such as privacy invasion and information leakage while promoting the digital and intelligent transformation of archival work, which restricts the efficient release of the value of archival data.Based on the ethical relationship, this paper explained the ethical connotation of archival data governance, and analyzed the ethical risks hidden in the process of archival data governance, including the risks between subjects and between subjects and objects, and explored the ethical path of archival data governance, that is,to construct civic ethics,to achieve the unity of individual goodness and public goodness in archival data governance,to reconstruct the ethics of responsibility,to achieve the balance between purpose goodness and means goodness in archival data governance,to improve institutional ethics, and to promote the combination of rule of law and moral self-discipline in archival data governance. The three ethical dimensions rely on each other to jointly promote the archival data governance to achieve"data for the good"within the ethical framework.
