Research on the Construction of Oral History Archive Metadata from the Perspective of the Whole Life Cycle:Analysis Based on OHA Oral History Metadata and Description
Metadata management and application can promote the organization,innovation,and management of oral history archives.The interpretation of OHA's Oral History Metadata and Description survey report can provide reference for the metadata of oral history archives in China.This paper firstly extracts the core content of the report,and based on this in-depth analysis of the whole life cycle stages of oral history archive metadata and the key elements of the management model,and finally summarizes relevant experience.This study found that the way to promote domestic oral history archives metadata construction,can be included from the following four aspects:clearing oral history archive metadata construction principle,strengthening the construction of the team system,attaching great importance to the metadata the continuation of life,and establishing the metadata best construction mode.
