Features of Woody Plant Flora in Jinyun Mountain Nature Reserve
The floristic composition and the elements of woody plants in Jinyun Mountain Nature Reserve were analyzed by comparing the affinities with its neighbor regions, such as Dabashan, Ruoliaoxian, and Lugu Lake. A total of 694 species of woody plants belonging to 112 families and 355 genera were recorded in Jinyun Mountain Nature Reserve, among which there are 427 wild species of 92 families and 238 genera. Among the wild species of the woody plants, 1 species of pteridophyte belongs to 1 family and 1 genus, 4 species of gymnosperms to 4 families and 4 genera and 427 species of angiosperms to 87 families and 233 genera. The floristic features of xylophyta in Jinyun Mountain were concluded as followings: the species of woody plants are very rich in the whole flora; the flora with many ancient families and genera is of ancient origin; the floristic elements of the flora are very complex, tropical elements are slightly more than temperate elements, and the flora has close affinity with subtropical flora. Comparative analysis between Jinyun Mountain and other six regions indicates that the flora of Jinyun Mountain is more closely allied to that of Ruoliaoxian Nature Reserve and more distantly related to that of Lugu Lake.
