We used geostatistic methods of semivariogram and Kriging interpolation to analyze the spatial variability of soil nutri-ents in broad-leaved Korean pine forest of Jiaohe, Jilin Province. The coefficient of variation for soil nutrients ranges from 6.29% to 34.43%, and it can be considered as relatively moderate except soil pH.The variogram of total nitrogen ( TN) , available phosphorus ( AP) , available potassium ( AK) , pH and organic matter ( OM) can be well fitted by expo-nential model, and total phosphorus (TP) and total potassium (TK) can be well fitted by spherical model. The ratio of nugget and sill of TP, AP and pH is lower with strong spatial autocorrelation , while that of TP, OM, TN and AK is with moderate spatial autocorrelation. The regressed range of soil nutrients is 3.9-92.2 m.The fractal dimension of TN, AP, AK, pH and OM is higher with more complex spatial distribution pattern, while the fractal dimension of TN and TP is low-er with simple spatial distribution pattern.
