Effects of Water and Fertilizer Coupling on the Ornamental Quality and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Conval-laria keiskei Miq.
We used two factors of randomized block experimental design of water level ((W1)200, (W2)400, (W3)600 mL) and fertilizer level ((F1)0.15, (F2)0.35, (F3)0.55, (F4)0.75 g? kg-1) without CK to study the effects of each treat-ment on the ornamental quality index and photosynthetic characteristics of Convallaria keiskei Miq.The effects of water and fertilizer coupling on the ornamental quality index net photosynthetic characteristic of C.keiskei Miq.were significant .The ornamental quality index figure and net photosynthetic rate were raised with water level rising in the same fertilizer level . Appropriate fertilizer level was the same result with water level rising , but more fertilizer level would play a negative role . Differences between treatments were significant (P<0.05) and the treatments of W2F3, W2F2, W3F2 were of higher or-namental quality with fuzzy comprehensive evaluation , and W1F4 was poorer .The light saturation point and light compen-sation point were 430 and 45μmol? m-2? s-1 with PA,R-Pn curve fitting, and C.keiskei Miq.was the shade plant .The photosynthetic rate had positive correlation with stomatal conductance and transpiration rate with the correlation coefficients of 0.884 5 and 0.934 6, respectively, and had negative correlation with intercellular CO 2 content (R=-0.777 3).Tr had larger influence onP n .By correlative data analysis, the coupling of water levels of from 400 to 600 mL and fertilizer levels of 0.35-0.55 g? kg-1 had better effect and significant differences compared with other treatment .
