A Multi-function Evaluation of Different Thinning Intensities on Cunninghamia lanceolata Plantation
With Cunninghamia lanceolata in southern China,we set five thinning intensities (0%,20%,25%,33%,50%) in three slope position (bottom, middle, downslope) in the northeast Fujian.By using analysis hierarchy process (AHP),we analyzed the different thinning intensity comprehensive value including woods output, water conservation, soil conservation, carbon fixation and oxygen release, biodiversity conservation and accumulation of nutrients. In bottom slope,20% thinning can help forest to get the highest value,117 096.00 CNY/hm2.In middle slope, the best one was 25% thinning forest with the value of 120 473.34 CNY/hm2.In non-thinning forest, the best value in downslope was 136 059.47 CNY/ hm2.For different slope, choosing the suitable thinning intensity to manage is reasonable.
