Simulation of Mixed Forest Structure Optimization with Comprehensive Cutting Index in Maoer Mountain
With the data of four fixed sample plots in broadleaved mixed forest in Mao'er Mountain Forest Farm,we used eight structural parameters to build the cutting index Fi.Selective cutting operation was adopted with different intensities of cut-ting(no cutting,10%,20%and 30%)to examine the influence of cutting on spatial structure and non spatial structure of the stands. The optimum cutting intensity of each stand was screened out.The main results:(1)It was scientific and rea-sonable to determine that whether a tree should be cut or not by taking into account of mingling intensity, and neighborhood comparison.(2)The descending order of importance of the eight indexes for a hard broad leaf mixed forest was CIi, |Wi-0.5|,Bi,Ui,Hi,Ai,Mi,and Di.(3)Through comparative analysis, the change of stand non-spatial and spatial struc-ture under a given intensity, the cutting intensity of 20%-30%might enhance the stability of forest community spatial structure effectively and its communities spatial structure was superior.
