Application of GIS Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process for Forest Fire Risk Zoning Study:A Case Study of Ningyuan County,Hunan Province
Applying ArcGIS fuzzy logic and analytic hierarchy process,this study evaluated forest fire risks and conducted zoning research in Ningyuan County,Hunan Province.Factors contributing to fire risk assessment included environmental,human activities,and terrain factors.The results showed that temperature,precipitation,elevation,and normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)had the most significant impact on forest fire risk in the study area.Approximately 47.6%of the region in Ningyuan County was identified as having a fire risk level of four or above,predominantly concentrated in the central areas,suggesting a severe fire risk situation in the county.The forest fire risk map developed achieved a predictive accuracy of 82.7%.The fuzzy analytic hierarchy process demonstrated good performance in predicting forest fire risks,ser-ving as an important tool for fire prediction and risk mapping.The prepared forest fire risk map provides scientific reference for forest fire management in Ningyuan County.
