Feasibility Analysis of the BRICS Mechanism to Promote the Development of the"Global South"
With the collective rise of the"Global South"countries,their international status and influence have also increased.Countries in the"Global South"are deeply connected in historical memory,reform demands,and common development vision.Along with the profound changes unseen in a century,the BRICS has emerged as a significant force in international politics.Both the BRICS and the"Global South"are facing the geopolitical and economic pressure brought by western countries,and they both share a common mission to promote the establishment of a more just and equitable international political and economic order.In recent years,although countries in the"Global South"have achieved development to varying degrees,they are still restricted by various conditions on their path to modernization.The development achievements of the BRICS provide experience and reference for the"Global South",its institutionalization and efficiency increasing and member expansion have created an open platform for the participation of Southern countries in global governance.Combining their own material foundations,value ideas,and action plans,the BRICS is committed to strengthening cooperation with the"Global South"and actively contributing BRICS wisdom and strength to promoting the realization of autonomous sustainable development and the fairness of governance systems.
