Characteristics of Power Transmission Cable Coupled Strong Electromagnetic Pulse
Aiming at the problem of overvoltage induced by coupling strong electromagnetic pulse with a single transmission cable, the bounded wave simulator is used to generate an electric field waveform of 2.3/23 ns.The coupling tests of LGJ and ZR-VVR overhead transmission cables are carried out,and the characteristics and differences of induced overvoltage coupled under different conditions are analyzed by direct test method. The test results show that when the electric field intensity is below 10 kV/m,the voltage coupled to the two transmission cables increases with the increase of electric field intensity and increases approximately linearly; The voltage waveform is approximately damped oscillation, and the oscillation period is nanosecond; The voltage coupled to the transmission cable will increase with the increase of overhead height, incident elevation,cross-sectional area and coupling length. When the load at the near end of the transmission cable is connected with 50 Ω impedance matching, the coupled voltage and energy are the largest; When connecting the energy storage element such as inductor and capacitor, there is basically no great difference.
