Differentiated Lightning Protection Measures for Distribution Lines Based on Lightning Discharge Selectivity
The author studies the influence of lightning discharge selectivity on distribution lines,inclu-ding the direction of distribution lines,the relationship between topography and geology where distribution lines are located,providing a theoretical basis for the identification of key lightning protection areas.Data statistics were conducted on distribution lines that have experienced consecutive lightning accidents in re-cent years,and their common characteristics are analyzed.And thundercloud model and distribution line model for theoretical demonstration are established.Differentiated lightning protection improvement sug-gestions are put forward for distribution lines that suffer from frequent lightning strikes,including impro-ving the insulation level of key lightning protection distribution lines;adding lightning protection gaps to the lines and designing a reasonable arcing distance;key protection against intrusion waves for distribu-tion lines in areas prone to lightning.Different from lightning protection improvement measures for distri-bution lines after frequent lightning accidents,this research is to distinguish the distribution lines that are easily affected by lightning strikes before the occurrence of lightning accidents,so as to form preventive lightning protection for distribution lines.
