Hemorrhoidal disease,a highly prevalent condition in proctology,features bleeding as one of its primary symp-toms.Bleeding from hemorrhoidal disease can lead to severe anemia,posing a threat to patients'lives and complicating perioperative management.Anemia exacerbates anesthesia and surgical risks,increases postoperative infection rates and mortality,and delays recovery.Current literature recognizes anemic hemorrhoidal disease as a distinct subtype.sclero-therapy for anemic hemorrhoidal disease is relatively safe,convenient,and effective.This report presents a case of severe anemic hemorrhoidal disease successfully treated with sclerotherapy,highlighting its safety,convenience,and high efficacy for clinical reference.
