Anorectal malignant melanoma is a rare, highly aggressive, and poorly prognostic malignancy, accounting for 0.2%to 3%of all malignant melanomas, with a slight preponderance in middle-aged and elderly women. The clinical inci-dence of anorectal malignant melanoma is low,but the misdiagnosis rate is high.It is prone to early metastasis and is often diagnosed in the advanced stage with poor prognosis.Surgical resection combined with chemotherapy,immuno-therapy,and targeted therapy are currently the main treatment modalities for this disease. This article reports a case of primary anorectal malignant melanoma with multiple polyps in the colon, aiming to raise awareness of this disease and provide a reference for its diagnosis and treatment, avoiding misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.
