Experience exchange on the process of robotic right hemicolectomy with complete meso-colic excision via lateral caudal approach and page-flipping technique
The da Vinci robot is increasingly being utilized in the surgical management of gastrointestinal tumors,with its benefits widely acknowledged by surgeons.Robotic-assisted right hemicolectomy with complete mesocolic excision(CME)via the lateral caudal approach poses unique challenges and offers advantages.This article summarizes the proce-dural flow of da Vinci robot-assisted right hemicolectomy CME based on our team's experience with the lateral caudal approach and page-flipping technique.It elaborates on the advantages of this surgical approach from the perspectives of surgical route selection and operative key points,aiming to guide the high-quality promotion of this surgical method.
