Catalytic Ethanolysis of Low-rank Coal and Structural Analysis of Derived Soluble Portion
The catalytic ethanololysis of low-rank coal from northern Shaanxi was studied.GC/MS and FTIRS analyses of petroleum ether-extracted soluble portion were conducted to determine the types of soluble portion and the content of each component. The experimental results showed that the soluble portion extracted by petroleum ether mainly included alcohols, esters, ethers, phenanthrenes, phenols and other compounds, and the content of other aromatic compounds and nitrogen-containing compounds was less. After catalytic ethanololysis, various>C—O—bridged bonds in low-rank coal were broken to generate value-added small-molecule alcohols and esters. The research results are of great significance for the clean and value-added utilization of low-rank coal in northern Shaanxi, and also provide theoretical support for the development of catalytic ethanololysis of low-rank coal.
