Analysis of Factors Influencing Hydrogen Sulfide Corrosion in Pipeline Steel and Research on Protective Measures
In order to clarify the corrosion law of hydrogen sulfide on pipeline steel for oil and gas gathering and transportation, and propose targeted corrosion protection measures,a high-temperature and high-pressure dynamic corrosion experimental device was used to evaluate the corrosion of pipeline steel in the presence of hydrogen sulfide. The influence of different factors, including hydrogen sulfide partial pressure,on the corrosion rate was investigated, and targeted corrosion protection measures were proposed. The experimental results showed that the increasing of the partial pressure of hydrogen sulfide and the experimental temperature, the corrosion rate of the hanging plate first increased and then decreased; The higher the pH of the corrosive medium, the lower the corrosion rate; The higher the experimental flow rate and moisture content, the greater the corrosion rate; The presence of hydrogen sulfide had a significant impact on the corrosion of X65 pipeline steel for target oilfield gathering and transportation. When the hydrogen sulfide partial pressure was 0.1 MPa,the corrosion rate reached its maximum.Under the same experimental conditions, the corrosion inhibitor MHS-5 had the best corrosion protection effect on pipeline steel. The addition of MHS-5 could greatly reduce the corrosion rate of hanging pieces. When its mass fraction was 0.05%,the corrosion inhibition efficiency could reach 92.8%,and the hanging piece corrosion rate was less than 0.1 mm·a-1,meeting the requirements of industry standards.
