基于Fe2O3的片状α-Al2O3包覆研究

首先以片状 α-Al2O3 为基质,以 FeCl3 为铁源,采用液相沉积法制备了 Fe2O3/α-Al2O3珠光颜料,并借助SEM、EDS、XRD等手段对制备的珠光颜料进行性能表征,考察了反应pH值、反应温度、铁盐浓度、添加剂用量等因素对片状 α-Al2O3 包覆率的影响,得到了制备铁系包覆片状 α-Al2O3 的最佳制备工艺参数,同时了解了各参数影响包覆率的主次顺序,并在此基础上着重探讨了六偏磷酸钠对包覆率产生影响的机理.结果表明:影响包覆率的主次顺序依次为反应pH值、反应温度、添加剂用量、铁盐浓度;在最优的工艺参数下制备出来Fe2O3/α-Al2O3 的包覆率为20.93%;样品的表面形貌光滑平整且包覆完整.
Study on Flaky α-Al2O3 Coated by Fe2O3
Fe2O3/α-Al2O3 pearlescent pigments were prepared by liquid phase deposition method using flake α-Al2O3 as matrix and FeCl3 as iron source.The properties of the prepared pearlescent pigments were characterized by means of SEM,EDS and XRD.The effects of reaction pH value,reaction temperature,iron salt concentration and additive dosage on the coating rate of flaky α-Al2O3 were investigated.The optimum preparation process parameters for the preparation of iron-coated flaky α-Al2O3 were obtained.At the same time,the primary and secondary order of the factors affecting the coating rate was understood.On this basis,the mechanism of the effect of sodium hexametaphosphate on the coating rate was discussed.The results showed that,the order from strong to weak of the factors affecting the coating rate was as follows:reaction pH,reaction temperature,additive dosage,iron salt concentration.The coating rate of Fe2O3/α-Al2O3 prepared under the optimized process parameters was 20.93%.The surface morphology of the sample was smooth and complete.
