Optimization of Spherical Alumina Support Structure
The pseudo-boehmite was mixed with an appropriate amount of nitric acid to form a sol solution, which was dropped into the oil-salt column and solidified to form a spherical alumina gel. The spherical alumina support with large pore size, high mechanical strength and suitable acidity was successfully prepared by adjusting the aging temperature and time and adding the steam treatment process. The changes of pore structure, mechanical strength, surface acidity and phase structure of spherical alumina before and after aging and during steam treatment were studied by N2 adsorption-desorption, particle mechanical strength test, NH3-TPD and XRD. The optimal aging time was about 4 h, and the optimal second-stage steam treatment time was about 6 h.
