Optimization Strategy of Fuel Gas Consumption for Continuous Reforming Unit
The fuel gas consumption of 1.5 Mt·a-1 continuous reforming unit in an enterprise was discussed in detail. After the transformation of the plant from fuel type to aromatics type, the fuel gas consumption increased sharply, which brought pressure to the operating cost and environment. The problems mainly came from unstable fuel gas sources, impurity effects, operation and equipment factors. In order to deal with the problem well, an optimization scheme was put forward, including improving the efficiency of energy recovery, optimizing the composition of fuel gas and optimizing the working condition of reheating furnace. Through these measures, the unit fuel gas consumption was reduced from 41 kg·t-1 to 37 kg·t-1, which was obviously improved. In this paper, many factors of high fuel gas consumption in continuous reforming unit were analyzed in detail, and a series of effective optimization measures were put forward to reduce fuel gas consumption and improve energy efficiency and economic benefit of the unit.
