Study on Performance of High Viscosity Modified Asphalt under Indoor Aging Effect
In the process of rapid development of sponge city construction in China, porous asphalt pavement has been widely used. The high viscosity modified asphalt used in porous asphalt mixture has experienced a complex aging environment. In this study, the effects of different aging effects on high viscosity modified asphalt were investigated by laboratory tests.Three major indicators,60℃dynamic viscosity,PVN and MSCR were used for testing, and the aging mechanism was described by FT-IR.The results showed that the aging effect led to the increase of high-temperature performance, viscosity and elastic recovery ability of high-viscosity modified asphalt. The aging effect was composed of asphalt aging and binder and SBS resin degradation, among which asphalt aging was dominant. This study can provide ideas for solving the aging behavior of high viscosity modified asphalt binder used in porous asphalt pavement.
