Screening of Demulsifiers and Optimization of Electrodesalination Process for Poor Quality Crude Oil
The effects of process conditions such as temperature, emulsion breaker addition, water injection, electric field strength and mixing strength on the electrodesalting effect of crude oil were investigated by a small pilot device of electrodesalting, and the state of crude oil before and after desalting was observed by optical microscopy. The experimental results showed that the optimum operating conditions were 135℃,15 μg·g-1 of emulsion breaker addition,7%of water injection,1150 V·cm-1 and 3 min of electric field strength and action time, respectively, and 350 V·cm-1 and 2 min of weak electric field strength and action time, respectively. The salt mass concentration in the crude oil was 1.9 mg·L-1 after the three-stage electric desalination and dehydration.
