Study on Preparation and Performance of Hydrophobic Associating Polymer Fracturing Fluid
With the rapid development of unconventional oil and gas resources, the performance of hydraulic fracturing fluid has become a key factor in increasing oil and gas production. In this study, the cationic hydrophobic associative polymer PDAH was synthesized and applied in the fracturing fluid system, and its viscoelasticity, sand carrying capacity and static fluid loss performance under different conditions were systematically evaluated. The results showed that the viscosity of the new fracturing fluid system reached 503 mPa∙s at room temperature when the shear rate was 0.1 s-1,and the viscosity remained at 262 mPa∙s at 100℃ when the shear rate was 1000 s-1,showing good viscoelastic properties.Sand-carrying experiments showed that the system could effectively carry and distribute proppant under low flow rate conditions. The results of the static fluid loss experiment showed that the fluid loss was stable at 18.7 mL within 30 min,and the thickness of the filter cake formed was approximately 2.1 mm,indicating that the fracturing fluid system had excellent fluid loss control capabilities.Cost-benefit analysis showed that as the cost of fracturing fluid increased, oil and gas production increased, but the cost-benefit ratio gradually decreased, and costs and benefits need to be balanced to achieve the best combination. This study provides a new fracturing fluid system for hydraulic fracturing technology in unconventional oil and gas reservoirs, which has important research significance and application value.
