Research on Characteristics of Phase Change Energy Storage Mortar in Building Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction System
Phase change energy storage materials can effectively reduce the energy consumption of building systems.A new type of phase change composite material was developed and added to mortar to prepare phase change energy storage mortar. The focus was on investigating the effects of phase change composite material content on the mechanical properties(apparent density, water absorption, compressive strength, flexural strength, and softening coefficient)and thermal properties(thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity)of mortar. The experimental results showed that as the content of new phase change composite materials in phase change energy storage mortar gradually increased, the water absorption rate of the specimen gradually increased, while the other parameters gradually decreased. When the content of the new phase change composite material reached 30%,the apparent density of the mortar specimen was 2007.6 kg·m-3,the softening coefficient was 0.87,the water absorption rate was 11.65%,the thermal conductivity coefficient was 0.97 W·m-1·K-1,the compressive strength was 25.8 MPa,the flexural strength was 5.7 MPa,and the specific heat capacity was 0.85 kJ·kg-1·K-1.The mechanical and thermal properties of the mortar specimen met the requirements of relevant standards. The new phase change composite materials can be applied to energy-saving and consumption reducing systems in buildings, achieving the goal of reducing building energy consumption.
