Efficient Utilization Technology of Low-quality Light Hydrocarbon
During the process of oil extraction and refinery production,a considerable amount of low-quality light hydrocarbon waste gases is generated.These gases contribute to the greenhouse effect more severely than carbon dioxide,and there is a lack of environmentally friendly treatment methods.In this paper,the progress of pure hydrogen fuel cell distributed combined heat and power(CHP)systems and natural gas fuel cell CHP systems was outlined,indicating that the integration of hydrogen production from natural gas and fuel cell CHP technology can effectively address the issue of light hydrocarbon waste gas emissions.However,the current technology generally has low power output and cannot meet the production demands of the petrochemical industry.Developing high-power systems is a technical challenge that needs to be addressed in the future.
