Research on Insulation Structure and Performance of Underground Crude Oil Transportation Pipeline in Oilfield
High wax crude oil is prone to wax deposition during extraction and transportation, causing blockages in the wellbore and transportation pipelines, which affects the normal production of the oilfield. In order to comprehensively solve the problems of wax accumulation and eccentric wear in oil well wellbore, based on the analysis of the production overview of the target reservoir and the factors affecting wellbore temperature, research was conducted on insulation and anti-wear measures for underground oil transportation pipeline in the oilfield, and the performance of insulation and anti-wear materials was evaluated. The results showed that the higher the liquid production, water content, and liquid level of the oil well, the higher the wellbore temperature, and the lower the risk of wax precipitation in the wellbore. The comprehensive performance of polystyrene foam thermal insulation material was relatively better. When the experimental time was 360 min,the temperature retention rate could still reach 85.35%.The NC-2 wear-resistant material had good hardness and temperature resistance, and excellent ductility. The polystyrene foam thermal insulation material and NC-2 wear-resistant material were combined by compound extrusion to form a thermal insulation structure suitable for the underground crude oil pipeline in the target oil field, which could meet the thermal insulation needs of the wellbore and transmission pipeline, effectively alleviate the problems of wellbore wax deposition and eccentric wear, and help to improve the production efficiency of high waxy crude oil.
